Other Stealing Hints Tips and Tricks:

- You can NOT steal:

- Boots

- XP or JP, if the monster has 0 (XP or JP)

- Something the monster doesn't even have

- If the monster is using the "Maintainance" ability.

- From your own team or allies.

- Blue Mage abilities.

- Morpher abilities.

- An ability type that is NOT an "Action" type ability.

- To learn the ability "Steal Weapon", you must have the "Sword Breaker" ability.

- To get the "Sword Breaker" ability, you must 'win it' as a random prize in "Type 6" missions, later in the game.

- To learn the ability "Steal Ability", you must have a "Cinqueda".

- To get a "Cinqueda", you can either steal it during a battle (Mission # 9), or 'win it' for getting your "Clan Negotiate" level to level 30.

- Ways to increase "Steal Rate":

- Thief Armlet, +20%

- Cast the status "Blind" on the target, +10%

- Cast the status "Sleep" or "Stop" on the target, 100%

- Steal from target when target is NOT facing you.

- Equip the "Concentrate" ability.

- Ways to artificially increase "Steal Rate":

- Cast the status "Slow" on the target, gives you more attempts to steal.

- Have more than one character with the "Steal" ability, gives you more attempts to steal.

- If certain rare items exist in only one or a few missions, you can flee those missions after successfully stealing the rare item(s) you want, and repeat the mission. Some missions you can NOT flee from, so do not depend on this 'trick' always working.
