You can level your characters down by:
- Degenerator traps - Favoham Plains is the best place to do this. - Use Monster Skill on a friendly/invited Mindflare. This will allow it to use "Level Blast".. guess what it does. If you want it to go really fast, use speed bonuses on the person who is on the degenerator trap or on the Mindflare. These would include Haste and Ramza's Yell. And to clear up any confusion on "Speed" gains: - Even though Ninjas and Thieves gain a Speed bonus more often, doesn't mean that there is a max on how high you can (level up/down your characters to make) get their speed up. I would assume the highest Speed can be is "99", since it can obviously be double digits based off of equipment bonuses, etc. And, yes, I actually spent several hours to confirm this information, only to find that leveling down as a Bard and back up as a Ninja made my speed infact go up 3 points. Pretty cool. Do this with Ramza, Beowulf, Orlandu, Reis, and Cloud for a few hundred hours and you'll have yourself one hell of an army. |
